LIGHT WEIGHT RECOVERY DRIVERS - CARTERTON - SEMI SKILLED MECHANIC

 Working as a Recover Driver/Semi Skilled Mechanic, your main responsibilities will be attending broken down vehicles and attempting to resolve the issue roadside or alternatively recovering the vehicle to the drivers destination.

Essential Requirements

 · Full Driving Licence

· No more than 6 penalty points on your Driving Licence

· In depth geographical knowledge or the local area

· Excellent customer service skills

· 40 Hours base on Mon-Fri 1400-2000hrs, forming part of an 'on call' Rota -  FULL TIME PERMANENT

 HGV (C or C+E) RECOVERY DRIVERS - NIGHT SHIFT (40hrs per week)

Cotswold Vehicle Recovery Limited are currently looking for HGV Recovery Drivers (Class 1, Class 2 and 7.5 Tonne)

 to join our busy teams in Carterton.

Working as a Recovery Driver, your main responsibilities will include be attending accidents 

or breakdowns and recovering vehicles to the customers destination.

Essential Requirements

· C or C+E category driving license

· Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

· No more than 6 penalty points on your Driving License

· In depth Geographical knowledge or the local area

· Excellent customer service skills

· Some mechanical knowledge is preferred, although not essential

40 Hours based on 4 on 4 off rolling shift 1700-0500hrs (12hr shift)

Dispatcher Swindon Branch

A new vacancy has arisen in our Highworth branch for a dispatcher/controller in our busy 24hr breakdown control room.

Duties include dispatching our recovery vehicles and technicians to accidents and breakdowns in

Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, and Gloucestershire.

The job role requires:  

Good customer service, telephone skills & computer skills. 

Working well under pressure & ability to remain calm under pressure.

Good logistic & geographical skills.

Work well on your own initiative & as part of a team.

Quick thinking & able to make decisions in real time.

The ability to prioritise & plan.

Previous controller experience is favorable but not essential as full training will be given.

Due to the nature of the work the successful applicant will need to pass a police vetting check.

HOURS: 4 on 4 off - Rolling Shift

1830hrs to 2230hrs Weekdays

 0900hrs to 2100hrs Weekends 

SALARY: From £16,000 depending on experience
